Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo

Maria Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (born 5 April 1947) is a Filipino politician who was the President of the Philippines from 2001 to 2010 and the Vice-President from 1998 to 2001. She is currently a member of the House of Representatives. She was the country's second female president, after Corazon Aquino. She is also the daughter of former President Diosdado Macapagal.[2]

In July 23, 2018, she was elected as the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Philippines.[3] She left the job in June 2019.
