Ghrelin

Ghrelin is a gut hormone. It activates its receptor, the growth hormone GHS-R. Ghrelin's hallmark functions are its stimulatory effects on food intake, fat deposition, and growth hormone release. Ghrelin is famously known as the “hunger hormone”.
