Ghevont Alishan
Father Ghevont Alishan (Armenian: Ղեվոնդ Ալիշան) (July 6, 1820 – November 9, 1901; also spelled Ghevond Alishan) was an ordained Armenian Catholic priest, historian and a poet. In 1885, Alishan created the first modern Armenian flag.
