Gerardo Clemente Vega

Gerardo Clemente R. Vega García (28 March 1940 – 22 June 2022) was a Mexican general and politician. He was the Secretary of National Defense from 2000 until 2006 during the Vicente Fox administration.[1] Vega was born in Puebla de Zaragoza, Mexico.

Vega died on 22 June 2022 in Mérida, Mexico at the age of 82.[2]
