Geheime Feldpolizei

The Geheime Feldpolizei (GFP or Gefeldpo) (English: Secret Field Police) was the German secret military police of Nazi Germany’s German Army the regular army branch of Wehrmacht Military from 1939 until 1945 when it was disbanded. The GFP was under the control of the Wehrmacht under the German Military Chief and German Army Field Marshall Wilhelm Keitel from 1938-1945 .

Not to be confused with the Feldgendarmerie, the ordinary military police, or with the Geheime Staatspolizei (Gestapo), the secret state police.
