Franco Marini
Franco Marini (9 April 1933 – 9 February 2021) was an Italian politician. He was a member of the Democratic Party. From 2006 to 2008. he was the president of the Italian Senate. From 1992 until 2013, he was a member of the Italian Parliament. He was born in St. Pio of the Chambers, Italy. From 1991 to 1992, he was the Minister of Labour.

Marini died on 9 February 2021 in Rome from COVID-19, aged 87.[1]
