Francesco Di Carlo

Francesco Di Carlo (February 18, 1941 April 16, 2020) was an Italian mobster. He was a member of Sicilian Mafia who became a state witness (pentito - a mafioso turned informer) in 1996. He was accused of being the killer of the Roberto Calvi. Di Carlo was in charge of Banco Ambrosiano and worked closely with the Vatican Bank. He was born in Altofonte, Italy.

Di Carlo died of COVID-19 in Paris on April 16, 2020, aged 79.[1]
