France Gall

Isabelle Geneviève Marie Anne Gall (9 October 1947 – 7 January 2018), known by her stage name France Gall, was a French singer.

Career

Gall was known for her songs "Laisse tomber les filles", "Poupée de cire, poupée de son", and "Ella, elle l'a". She won the Eurovision Song Contest in1965 representing Luxembourg.

Life and death

She was born in Paris. Gall was married to Michel Berger, until his death.

Gall died of an infection complicated from cancer of unknown primary origin at a Paris hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine on 7 January 2018 at the age of 70.[1]
