F. C. Kohli

Faqir Chand Kohli (19 March 1924 – 26 November 2020), popularly known as F. C. Kohli, was an Indian engineer and software businessman. He was known as the Father of the Indian Software Industry.[1][2]

He was the founder[3] and first CEO[4] of Tata Consultancy Services, India's largest[5] software company. He was the deputy general manager of the Tata Power Company. He was Chairman of the Board of Governors of College of Engineering, Pune.

Kohli died of a heart attack on 26 November 2020 at the age of 96.[6]
