Eugie Foster

Eugie K. Foster (December 30, 1971 – September 27, 2014) was an American short story writer, columnist, and editor. She won the Nebula Award in 2009. Her works have been added into a number of magazines and book anthologies. These include Fantasy Magazine, Realms of Fantasy, Orson Scott Card's InterGalactic Medicine Show, and Interzone. Some of her short stories, Returning My Sister's Face and Other Far Eastern Tales of Whimsy and Malice, was published in 2009.

Foster was born in Urbana, Illinois. She was married to Matthew M. Foster.

Foster died from respiratory failure caused by lymphoma on September 27, 2014 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was 42.[1]
