Eskandar Firouz
Eskandar Firouz (August 7, 1926 – March 4, 2020) was an Iranian environmentalist and politician. He was the first Director of the Department of Environment in Iran. He created Iran’s ecological conservation and management program. Firouz was known as the father of environmental protection and conservation in Iran.
