Elsimar M. Coutinho
Elsimar Metzker Coutinho (May 18, 1930 – August 17, 2020) was a Brazilian scientist. He was a professor, gynecologist, and television personality. He was born in Pojuca, Bahia. His works helped create the first injectable contraceptive ciclofem.

Coutinho died on August 17, 2020 from COVID-19 at the age of 90.[1]
