Elias Rahbani

Elias Hanna Rahbani (Arabic: إلياس حنا الرحباني; 1938 – 4 January 2021) was a Lebanese musician, composer, songwriter, orchestra conductor and reality television personality. He composed more than 2500 songs.[1][2] He wrote the soundtrack for more than 25 movies. He composed songs for many artists including Fairuz and Sabah. Rahbani was born in Antelias, Lebanon. His career began in 1962. He was a reality show judge on SuperStar and Star Academy.

Rahbani died on 4 January 2021 at a Beirut hospital from COVID-19, aged 82.[3][1]
