Edward C. Meyer
Edward Charles "Shy" Meyer (December 11, 1928 – October 13, 2020) was a United States Army general. He was the 29th Chief of Staff of the United States Army from 1979 to 1983.[1]

Meyer was born in St. Marys, Pennsylvania. He died of pneumonia on October 13, 2020 in Arlington, Virginia at the age of 91.[2]
