Eddie Brock
Edward Charles Allan ''Eddie'' Brock is a fictional character from Marvel Comics and appears in the Spider-Man comic book universe. He made his first appearance in Amazing Spider-Man #299 (April 1988). He is best known for being the host of Venom.
He was a reporter once working at the Daily Bugle for J. Jonah Jameson until he was fired from his job by Jameson for lying him and covering the truth. He is the original Venom and one of Spider-Man's greatest foes. After being separated from the Venom symbiote and becoming Anti-Venom, he eventually became the second host of the symbiote Toxin, before being bonded with the Venom symbiote once again and resuming his role as the Lethal Protector. He is the archnemesis of Cletus Kasady.
