Dungeness Nuclear Power Station

Dungeness nuclear power station refers to two nuclear power stations located at Dungeness in Kent, England. Dungeness A is an old Magnox power station. It began to operate in 1965. It has reached the end of its life and is no longer in use. Dungeness B is an advanced gas-cooled reactor (AGR) power station. It has two 615 MW reactors and began to operate between 1983 and 1985. Dungeness B was the first commercial scale AGR power station to be built.
