Dominic West
Dominic Gerard Francis Eagleton West (born 15 October 1969) is an English actor, director and musician. He played Baltimore detective Jimmy McNulty in the HBO series The Wire (2002–2008). His roles as Hector Madden in The Hour (2011–2012) and as Noah Solloway in The Affair (2014–2019) earnt him Golden Globe nominations. West won the British Academy Television Award for Best Actor for playing serial killer Fred West in Appropriate Adult (2011).

West acted in Chicago (2002), 300 (2007), Punisher: War Zone (2008), Johnny English Reborn (2011), John Carter (2012), The Square (2017) and Colette (2018).
Life
West was born in Sheffield, West Riding of Yorkshire. He has Irish ancestry. He is married to Catherine FitzGerald. He has five children.[2]
