Dieter Wedel

Dieter Karl Cäsar Wedel (12 November 1939 – 13 July 2022) was a German television director. He was thought to be one of Germany's best-known television directors.[1] He also was the artistic director of the Nibelung Festival. His career began in 1966 and he retired in 2018. Wedel was born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

In January 2018, Wedel was accused of sexual harassment by multiple actresses that he had worked with.[2][3]

Wedel died on 13 July 2022 in Hamburg, Germany at the age of 82.[4]
