Desmond "Des" Bernard O'Connor (12 January 1932 - Present – was an English television presenter and singer. He was born in Stepney, London. O'Connor presented the long running game show Countdown on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom, from January 2007 to December 2008.
O'Connor died on 14 November 2020 from problems caused by a fall, aged 88.[1]
