Dennis Waterman (24 February 1948 – 8 May 2022) was an English actor and singer. He was best known for his television roles in The Sweeney, Minder and New Tricks. He also appeared in Up the Junction, Scars of Dracula, Colditz, Fair Exchange, Windy City and The World Cup: A Captain's Tale.

Waterman died in hospital in Madrid, Spain on 8 May 2022 at the age of 74.[1]
