Dennis Eckersley
Dennis Lee Eckersley (born October 3, 1954), nicknamed "Eck", is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He is a sports commentator for the New England Sports Network (NESN). Eckersley was born in Oakland, California. His career began in 1975.
He pitched in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Oakland Athletics, and St. Louis Cardinals. Eckersley retired in 1998. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2004.[1]
