Datong

Datong (Chinese: 大同; pinyin: Dàtóng; Wade–Giles: Ta-t'ung) is a city in Shanxi province, People's Republic of China.

The number of inhabitants is 3,318,057, as of the 2010 census.

The city is an important distribution and warehousing center for Shanxi, Hebei and Inner Mongolia.[1]
