Colleton County, South Carolina
Colleton County is a county in the state of South Carolina, United States. As of the 2020 census, 38,604 people lived there.[1] Its county seat is Walterboro.[2] The county is named after Sir John Colleton, 1st Baronet,[3] one of the eight Lords Proprietor of the Province of Carolina and was created in 1800.[4]
