Colleen Hanabusa
Colleen Wakako Hanabusa (born May 4, 1951) is an American lawyer and politician. She was the U.S. Representative for the 1st District of Hawaii from 2011 to 2015 and again from 2016 to 2019.[1]

Early life
Colleen was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1951.[1] She is the daughter of Japanese American parents. She calls herself Yonsei, which means that she is the great-granddaughter of people born in Japan who immigrated to the US.[2]
