Colchane

Colchane (Aymara: from qullchanni, existence of pasturage) is a city in Chile in the province of Tamarugal.

Commune of Colchane in the Region of Tarapacá.

It has 1,700 inhabitants and an area of 4,015 km². It was originally founded as Los Cóndores in September 8, 1970.
