Coir
Coir, also called coconut fibre, is a natural fibre extracted from the coconut. It is made into rope, floor mats, doormats, brushes, and mattresses. It is found between the hard, internal shell and the outer coat of a coconut. It is quite waterproof, and resists damage by saltwater.[1]
