Clarence Williams III
Clarence Williams III (August 21, 1939 – June 4, 2021) was an American actor. He was best known for his role as "Linc Hayes" on the iconic "hippie" cop show The Mod Squad (1968-1973). He was nominated for a Tony Award. His last movie role was in the 2013 movie The Butler.

Williams III was born on August 21, 1939 in New York City.[2] He died of colon cancer on June 4, 2021 in Los Angeles, aged 81.[3]
