Charles L. Waddell
Charles Lindy Waddell (May 13, 1932 – July 19, 2022) was an American Democratic politician. He was a member of the Virginia Senate from 1972 to 1998. He was deputy transportation secretary to Governor Jim Gilmore.[1] He was the step-father of former Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring.[2] He was born in Braselton, Georgia.

Waddell died on July 19, 2022 in Leesburg, Virginia at the age of 90.[3][4]
