Charles Ebbets
Charles Clyde Ebbets was an American photographer who is credited with having taken the iconic photograph Lunch atop a Skyscraper.[1] He was born on August 18, 1905 in Alabama. He got his first camera, a Kodak Brownie when he was 8 years old. The family was struggling so he left school in 10th grade to work for the newspaper in the city.[2] It was then he decided to work toward the idea of making a living from taking pictures.
