Champion (1949 movie)
Champion is a 1949 American drama movie directed by Mark Robson and was based on the short story by Ring Lardner. It stars Kirk Douglas, Marilyn Maxwell, Arthur Kennedy, Paul Stewart, Lola Albright, Ruth Roman, Luis van Rooten and was distributed by United Artists. It was nominated for 6 Academy Awards and won an Oscar in 1950.
