Caterpillar Inc. is an American company that manufactures engines and machinery for mining and construction projects. It also provides insurance and loans for businesses to buy their products. The company is the largest manufacturer of construction machinery in the world.[7] It produces equipment such as excavators, bulldozers and mining trucks.
