Carolyn Keene

"Carolyn Keene" is a pseudonym for the authors of the Dana Girls and Nancy Drew books. The first Carolyne Keene was a journalist, Mildred A. Wirt Benson, who wrote many of the books starting in 1929.[1] Later books were written by Harriet Stratemeyer Adams, the daughter of the books' publisher, Edward Stratemeyer.[1] There have also been several other authors writing Nancy Drew books for Stratemeyer.
