Carl Gustav Hempel

Carl Gustav "Peter" Hempel (January 8, 1905 – November 9, 1997) was a German mathematician and philiospher. In philiosphy, he was one of the proponents of logical positivism. He developed the Deductive-nomological model, which is also known as Hempel-Oppenheim model. He also formulated the Raven paradox.
