Bruce Hunter (swimmer)
Richard Bruce Hunter (July 6, 1939 – July 6, 2018) was an American competition swimmer. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He represented the United States at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome.[1] Hunter swam in the men's 100-meter freestyle, advanced to the finals, and finished fourth overall with a time of 55.6 seconds.[1][2]

Hunter died on his 79th birthday on July 6, 2018 in Boston.[3]
