Bob Monkhouse

Robert Alan Monkhouse OBE (1 June 1928 – 29 December 2003) was a British writer, actor, comedian and presenter. He was born in Beckenham, Kent. He wrote and presented on radio. He acted in films and wrote and acted on television. He was a game show host and stand-up comedian.[1] Some of the most famous game shows he presented include The Golden Shot, Celebrity Squares, Family Fortunes, Bob's Full House and Wipeout.

Monkhouse died of prostate cancer in Bedford aged 75.
