Bill Withers
William Harrison "Bill" Withers, Jr. (July 4, 1938 – March 30, 2020) was an American singer-songwriter and musician. He performed and recorded from 1970 until 1985.[1] He recorded major hits including "Lean on Me", "Ain't No Sunshine", "Use Me", "Just the Two of Us", "Lovely Day", and "Grandma's Hands". He won three Grammy Awards and was nominated for four more during his career.

He was born in Slab Fork, West Virginia. Withers died of heart disease in Los Angeles on March 30, 2020 at the age of 81.[2][3]
