Belisario Betancur

Belisario Betancur Cuartas (4 February 1923 7 December 2018) was an Colombian politician. He was the 26th President of Colombia from 1982 to 1986.[1]

Betancur was born on 4 February 1923 in Amagá, Antioquia, Colombia. He studied at Pontifical Bolivarian University. Betancur died on 7 December 2018 in Bogotá from a kidney infection at the age of 95.[2]
