Barkat Gourad Hamadou
Barkat Gourad Hamadou (Arabic: بركات غوراد حمادو) (1 January 1930[1][2][3] – 18 March 2018) was a Djiboutian politician. He served as the Prime Minister of Djibouti from 2 October 1978 until 7 March 2001. He was born in Dikhil Region, French Somaliland. He resigned in 2001 due to health problems.[4]

Hamadou died on 18 March 2018 in Paris of complications from heart disease, aged 88.[5][6]
