Bachelor of Science

Bachelor of Science is an academic degree awarded by a university or other qualified institution. It is a first degree, and is given to students who graduate in a science course. Bachelor's degrees may take three to five years to complete.

The degree gives graduates the right to put BSc (or sometimes BS) after their name.
