Auto rickshaw
Auto–rickshaws are modernized versions of the rickshaw. They are common in Asia. They have three wheels and generally have open sides. They are often hired like taxis in cities for short journeys. The drivers sits in the front and there is room for 2 passengers. There are also types which carry goods. The first ones were built by Mazda in the 1930s.[1]

Auto–rickshaws are most common in India and Thailand, but are available in many different countries across all continents.
