Australian Aboriginal Flag
The Australian Aboriginal Flag represents Aboriginal Australians. The flag was designed in 1971 by Harold Thomas, an Aboriginal artist who is descended from the Luritja people of Central Australia. The black represents the aboriginal people, the red symbolises the earth and the colour of ochre used in ceremonies and the yellow circle in the middle represents the sun[1]
