Area code 845 is an area code for New York. It was created in 2000 as a split from 914. It covers counties such as Rockland, Putnam, Delaware, Orange, Sullivan, and Columbia. It will be overlaid by 329 on March 24, 2023 due to the exhaustion of telephone numbers for the 845 area code.[1]
