Amhara Region
Amhara Region is a region of Ethiopia. It is the homeland of the Amhara people. The capital city is Bahir Dar.

Ethiopia's largest inland body of water, Lake Tana, is in Amhara. The region also has the Semien Mountains National Park. The park includes Ras Dashan, the highest point in Ethiopia.
