Amaltheia

In Greek mythology, Amaltheia is the name of a nymph, who raised Zeus with the milk of a goat. Other sources say that Amlatheia was the goat who made the origin of cornucopia. Other names of her are Aiga and Aix.

Painting by Jacob Jordaens (around 1640). The boy on the left is small Zeus; Which of the two other figures - the goat or the nymph - is Amaltheia is unclear.
