Alexandre Bilodeau

Alexandre Bilodeau (born September 8, 1987 in Montreal, Quebec) is a Canadian retired freestyle skier. He skied in the men's moguls events for Canada at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. He won the gold medal at the 2010 Games and became the first Canadian to win a gold medal at an Olympic Games held in Canada.[1] Bilodeau also competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi where he successfully defended his gold medal and became the first Canadian to defend an individual title since Catriona Lemay Doan at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.[2] He has also won FIS World Championships in dual moguls.

On March 21, 2014, Bilodeau said that he was going to retire after the 2013–14 FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup season.[3][4]
