Ajvar
Ajvar (Cyrillic script: Ajвар) is a type of condiment made from bell peppers and eggplants. It is popular in the Balkans. Ajvar tastes hot and spicy. It is also a bread spread.

It originates from Serbia, from where it spread to other Balkan countries after World War 2 .
The most famous ajvar is Leskovački ajvar, from city of Leskovac, Serbia.
