Aeneas Chigwedere

Aeneas Soko Chigwedere (audio speaker iconpronunciation ) (25 November 1939 – 22 January 2021) was a Zimbabwean politician, historian, educationist, and traditional leader. He was the Minister of Education, Sports, & Culture from August 2001 until his death. He became Governor of Mashonaland East Province in August 2008.

Chigwedere died on 22 January 2021 after suffering from COVID-19 at the age of 81.[1]
