Abul Khayr Alonto

Abul Khayr Dangcal Alonto (30 October 1945 – 9 May 2019) was a Filipino politician, lawyer and businessman. He served as the chairman of the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) from September 2016 until his death in May 2019. He was the first Muslim to chair MinDa. Alonto was born in Marawi, Lanao.

Alonto died of pneumonia on 9 May 2019 in Quezon City. He was 73.[1]
