"Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay" (English: "In the Next Life Time")[lower-alpha 1] is a song by the Filipino folk-pop band Ben&Ben. It was written by the lead vocalists Paolo Benjamin and Miguel Benjamin Guico. The track was released on February 28, 2020. Three years after its release, "Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay" reached number 24 on Billboard's Philippines Songs in January 2024.

Release

The standalone single and lyric video were released on Spotify and YouTube respectively on February 28, 2020.[2]

Music video

Released on December 14, 2020, the music video of the song was directed by Jorel Lising, with screenplay from Gaya Sa Pelikula creator Juan Miguel Severo and appearances from Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.[3] The appearance of the pair, popularly known as "KathNiel", is considered as a "dream collab" by the band.[4]

Usage in Media

The song was chosen to be used as the official theme song and part of the soundtrack of the 2023 film Love You Long Time, starring Carlo Aquino and Eisel Serrano as part of the Summer Metro Manila Film Festival

In late 2023, this song was used in a trailer and the soundtrack of an Metro Manila Film Festival entry entitled "Rewind" starring Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera
