The North Macedonia men's national volleyball team is the national volleyball team of North Macedonia.
History
Volleyball Federation was established in 1946 in the framework of physical culture Association of Macedonia. On the 13 February 1949 the Macedonian volleyball federation has become an independent sports organization.The Macedonian team qualified twice for the European Championship 2019 and 2021. They played well in tough groups against top European opponents. The national team got to be the host of Volleyball's EURO 2023 and got to play European Championshop for the third time in a row . Skopje's BTSC -arena the home ground of the national team is venue for the Pool C against :Denmark, Holland ,Poland ,Montenegro and Czechia .
- CEV Eurovolley 2019 The National team had two good days at the European Championship back in 2019 .In Ljubljana Stozice Area the host of the Group C they managed to beat the solid team of Belorus 3-1 (23-25),(25-19),(29-27),(25-20). They also beat the hosts of the Group C team Slovenia-later the finalist of the Euro and Silver medalist by 3-1(26-24),(30-28),(19-25),(26-24) in front of home crowd of 7000 .In the end they've finished 17th with score 2-3 .
- CEV Eurovolley 2021 It was another experience for the National team at the European Championship Pool C in Tampere Ice Stadium Finland. This time they didn't manage to win a game . They've won a set against strong Spanish team ,and the hosts Finland losing both games 1-3 In the end they've finished 23 without a victory.
- CEV Eurovolley 2023 This time The Red Lions were the host of the Pool C again and Skopje's Boris Trajkovski Sports Center was the venue .In the opening match ,they've beat Denmark by 3-1(22-25),(25-22),(25-19),(25-22) infront of home a crowd in great atmosphere.Two days later they had to face Montenegro. Infront of home crowd and with great support.The national team had a great match beating Montenegro 3-0 (25-22),(25-18),(25-20) this time without losing a set. The Red Lions qualified for the top 16 in Eurovolley, having better championship tournament then 2019. In the Eight-Final they had to face team Italy one of the Favorites for the crown and one of the most trophies volleyball teams in the world. Team Italy won the game in Bari home ground . In the end the Red lions finished 16 th which is one place higher than in the 2019 campaign.

The BTSC – Boris Trajkovski Sports Center Macedonian: Спортски центар Борис Трајковски, Skopje is a multi-functional indoor sports arena. It is located in the Karpoš Municipality of Skopje, Macedonia. It is named after the former president, Boris Trajkovski. Its capacity is 10,000 .There is an Olympic size Swimming Pool and 5 Star Hotel Alexander Palace within the complex. Additional Water Land Fun Park and Ice Skating Rink next to it.
The arena is a home-ground of the Macedonian volleyball team (men and women). The venue also contains four restaurants and a sports bar. It was the venue for the European League three times in 2016,2018 and 2022.
European League
- The European league .The team was focused on competing in the European League. The goal was to make a team for European Championship Qualifiers that will be able to qualify for the European Volleyball Championship. The project started in the beginning of 2010 by the national volleyball federation in order to get the smaller sports like volleyball on a higher level.The national team competed successfully in the European League in the last 10 years fighting for the top spots.The Red Lions anticipated in eight European League tournaments. Best players of the team in this period are Georgiev brothers Ljaftov and Madjunkov. Although its team spirit and compact covering on all spots are the keys to success of the national team. They cover each other and work hard for every point. .They were very successful in Euro League winning the silver medal four times, and the bronze medal twice.
